Robert George talked about immigration policy, detailing his grandparents arriving in the U.S. as immigrants and his family’s humble beginnings. He said the key ingredient to becoming an American is gratitude, and argued for a “culture of opportunity, not entitlement.” At the end of his speech he took questions from members of the audience.

This speech was part of the Young America’s Foundation national conservative student conference.
